MWC Wishes You All a Wonderful 2017!!!

MWC bid a heartfelt good bye to the year 2016, amongst the memories of its journey since 2008; amongst reflections of it’s ups and downs; successes and challenges and amidst stories of bonding, love, warmth and true connections. The MWC families got together on the evening of December 30, 2016 to celebrate the triumphs and stories of 2016 and to DREAM TOGETHER FOR THE YEAR 2017. MWC has always believed in the philosophy of A CIRCLE………a circle of immense love, respect and strength which every dot on that circle adds to THE CIRCLE and receives from THE CIRCLE; yet THE CIRCLE retains its preciousness and strength at the CORE while radiating unconditional light to every dot on the CIRCLE.

The MWC CIRCLE wishes all of you a new year filled with unconditional love; company of true friends; great health and peace within!

MWC AT MALTON COMMUNITY FESTIVAL: JUNE 20, 2015

MWC IN ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Report by Jaishree Gupta; Media Coverage: Uzma Irfan) MWC was in full action with great passion and dedication at the Malton Community Festival on Saturday, June 20th, 2015. It is an absolute pleasure to be the part of this multicultural festival every year to showcase our rich culture through folk dances and giving a stage to children to explore the world of arts and craft. Jasmeet Sangha and Baljinder Braich lead Giddha group gave a mind blowing performance. All the ladies practiced on 3 week ends for 2 hours on each day. MWC Woman Of The Week - Amarjit Panchhi

  Our MWC Woman of the Week is ‘AMARJIT PANCHHI’ who is an Ambassador of MWC’s vision of ‘Empowered Women, Empowered Communities’. A dynamic woman, Amarjit brings with her knowledge and experience of diverse sectors including education, arts, sports, entrepreneurship, health and beauty. A writer and a poet, Amarjit serves as the President of Punjabi Sahit Sabha, Malerkotla, Sangrur (India). She has been actively involved with various literary organizations and projects including World Punjabi Conference 2021 (as Secretary)  and The Literary Reflections. Amarjit is passionate about promoting Punjabi arts, culture and heritage through poetry, literary work, and folk dances. An active member of Malton Women Council, she shares her valuable insights on women empowerment though our ongoing programs.
